11/1/21 I received a cold call from Gazelle Home Offers asking if I’d be interested in selling a property in Sammamish, WA., I live in NY. I mentioned that I had been considering a sale, was asked a few questions and was told they would call back with an offer. I assumed if call was serious they would call back in a few days after viewing the property, a vacant lot. Within 5 minutes they called back with their first offer. I thanked them but stated I had received an offer earlier in the year $25k higher. Had been receiving low-ball offers for a few years. Caller stated he’d like to consult with his partner for a better offer. I assumed end of story. Amin (caller) called back in a few days with an offer $60k higher. I mulled it over, did some price research & after a few more calls settled at another $15k higher. No realtor involved, I did have a NY. attorney review their purchase contract as well as closing documents and the only delays were on my end as real estate contracts & computer skills are not my strong suit. I negotiated first with Amin on price and then Haider held my hand to the finish line. Both were very patient and extended multiple offers to answer questions along the way, closing was on 1/10/22.
